Collaborative Project: Interactive Media Design Promo Video
A team-led promotional video created using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro to highlight the Interactive Media Design program.

This collaborative project focused on building awareness and excitement for the Interactive Media Design program, showcasing the creativity, innovation, and career potential the program offers. The campaign included the creation of digital assets, scripted video shoots, motion graphics, and short-form social content.


🎯 Goals:

  • Highlight the diverse skillsets taught in the program (UI/UX, motion design, coding, branding)
  • Engage prospective students through modern, visually-rich content
  • Promote the program via college platforms and social media (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)

🧠 Pre-Production: Planning & Concept

Scripting & Ideation:

  • The team brainstormed themes that reflect the real-world application of design and tech.
  • Created scripts focused on student life, career paths, and hands-on learning.
  • Storyboarding sequences for smooth flow between live-action and motion graphics.

Asset Development (Adobe Photoshop):

  • Designed posters, thumbnails, banners, and lower thirds for video overlays.
  • Created branded graphic templates consistent with the college's visual identity.

🎬 Production Phase:

Video Shoot:

  • Filmed on campus using DSLR cameras and audio gear.
  • Captured interviews, classroom action shots, and dynamic b-roll.
  • Natural lighting and campus backdrops helped maintain authenticity.

Editing & Animation (Premiere Pro & After Effects):

  • Combined live footage with animated typography and callouts.
  • Designed stylish transitions to match the creative vibe of the program.
  • Incorporated animated UI mockups and interactive icons using After Effects.
